Congrats to senior percussionist, Justin Perez (Guardians), and percussion alumnus, Thomas Rogstad (Bluestars), for their successful performances tonight at the the DCI Central Texas show! Both Justin and Thomas will finish out their summer with these two groups, performing at DCI Finals in Indianapolis, IN in August. Good luck gentlemen!
For anyone attending the DCI Houston Tour of Champions show tomorrow in Katy, be sure to watch out for Color Guard alumnus, Trace Brown, performing with the Phantom Regiment!

Lots of love and prayers to Peyton Boaz, a tuba player in the Clear Falls HS Band, who was involved in a plane crash on Sunday evening. The crash claimed the life of his father and stepmother. Consider donating to the GoFundMe below to support him and his family.

We are extremely excited to introduce our new Assistant Band Director at Clear Brook High School, Mr. Eric Perry! Mr. Perry is currently finishing his first semester of teaching as an interim band director at Vista Ridge HS in Leander ISD. Mr. Perry brings a wealth of marching, concert, and jazz expertise to our program – we are looking forward to him being a part of the Clear Brook family! You can read more about Mr. Perry below:
Mr. Perry is a recent graduate from UT-Arlington and holds a bachelors degree in Music Education. Mr. Perry, a trumpet player, was actively involved with the performing ensembles while at UTA and often played professionally. He also marched four years with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps beginning in 2013. He went on to become the head drum major of the corps in 2014 and remained at the post for three years. For the 2017 drum corps season, Mr. Perry took on a role with the Madison Scouts administrative staff. He currently teaches at the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and will continue to stay involved in the drum corps activity.
Mr. Perry student taught at Coppell High School and Coppell Middle School North. More recently, he spent a semester as the Interim Band Director at Vista Ridge High School in Cedar Park, TX.
Mr. Perry is beyond excited to continue his teaching career at Clear Brook High School and looks forward to getting to know the students, parents, and faculty!

*ATTENTION CLEAR BROOK BAND MEMBERS AND PARENTS* As you know, at the band banquet each year there is a slideshow to look back on the past band seasons (marching, WDL, CG, concert band, etc). With that being said, your Band Historians need photos! If you have any photos please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org! Whether they were taken on a professional camera or a cell phone, we need them! Also, SENIORS we need a baby, child, and senior photo emailed to us along with your plans for the future.
We have set deadlines for photos:
May 1st: baby, child, senior photos/plans
May 5th: any band photos from this past year
Amazing effort today by the Clear Brook Concert Band!! The band received a 1st division “Superior” rating on stage, and a 2nd division “Excellent” rating in the sight-reading room - that piece was REALLY tough!!!
