Fwd: Thank you Kathy Stewart Ezell who works for FEMA for all this valuable information.
If you own a home and have sustained damage: You must go through your insurance company first. FEMA comes in after your insurance for possible additional assistance. You must register at 1-800-621-3362.
If you have lost income because you cannot go to work: Call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362 and register for disaster unemployment.
If your vehicle has flooded out in the storm: You'll need to have liability coverage on your vehicle at the time of the disaster, along with your title, and registration. Call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362 for assistance. If you have full coverage you must file with your insurance company first.
If you are under mandatory evacuation: Call FEMA and register - you could get up to two months of rental assistance at the fair market value of your area.
If you have bills you are behind on, or if you have some coming due, call the company! EVERY COMPANY is pushing back due dates and some are even credited full months of service if you are in Houston or surrounding areas.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Clear Brook community today. We hope everyone is safe and sound after the weather last night - it looks like we have a few more days of heavy rainfall ahead. Please be smart and stay safe! Once this has passed, please let us know if you need any special assistance (food, clothing, toiletries, etc).
Come join the Clear Brook Band on Wednesday, August 30th at Panda Express off Bay Area Blvd. for an evening of food and fun! The band will receive 20% of all event sales from 2-10pm if you present the promotional flyer at checkout.
